Adele offers drink to underage fan before quickly realising her big mistake

Adele offered drinks to an underage fan, in a bid to comfort them after travelling to Las Vegas for her cancelled residency, before realising that she'd made a big mistake.The hit-making icon FaceTimed fans who flew out to Las Vegas to see her perform at Caesars Palace on Thursday night.

Disappointed fans were heartbroken when they found out that her residency was cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, so Adele made an unbelievable gesture and FaceTimed them.The 33-year-old star ended up offering free drink tokens to the disappointed ticket holders, before quickly going back on what she had said.Realising her fans were underage and not able to drink alcohol, Adele quickly backtracked after she offered each ticket-holder a free gift bag from her Vegas merchandise store.The merch shop stocks personalised items including various tops, hoodies and other items of clothing, as well as jewellery and wine too – as per her song, I Drink Wine.

With an array of garments on offer that had Adele's name and song titles splashed across them all, some items ranged between $90 and $110 – more than the $85 tickets on offer to see the star live.

A caring Adele did however voice her concerns of the prospect of loyal fans being left out of pocket.In a video chatting to fans via Facetime, Adele can be heard saying: "I love you too, I'm so sorry and I can't wait to meet you, alright.
