Adam Woodyatt has cast doubt over a potential EastEnders return after signing up for a new BBC TV role. The 53-year-old has played Ian Beale since the BBC One soap first hit our screens but the fan favourite took a sabbatical at the start of 2021 in order to star in a play. Now Adam has signed up for a new show called B&B By The Sea.The daytime BBC show programme, which is also set to feature Richard Blackwood, Linford Christie, Gloria Hunniford and Deborah Meaden, is set in a guest house on the Northern Irish coast.Great British Menu chef Alex Greene will lead a different celebrity in each episode on what producers describe as “a personal journey of discovery."The decription read: "Each episode will see a different celebrity guest, all with connections with the coast, stay at the B&B.
Taking a personal journey of discovery and reflection, they make the most of the region's produce and the restorative location."According to The Sun, filming has already begun at Roe Park Resort in Drumraighland, with the celebs helping to create dishes from locally sourced ingredients.
Earlier this year Adam denied he would be making a return to EastEnders in a reported £300,000 deal amid Danny Dyer's exit. Speaking on Channel 4's Steph's Packed Lunch he said: "I've kind of left, but not left.
It’s kind of the way the storyline has gone … I'm not there. I could go back and I could not go back! I don’t know. The speculation has been hysterical."I think everyone is always going to speculate.
