'Abolish the monarchy!' Jedward deliver angry royal rant as they ask for 'democracy'

Queen Elizabeth II's planned funeral. The body of the late British monarch is currently lying-in-state at Westminster Hall as members of the public are queuing up for hours for a chance to see Her Majesty's coffin before Monday's funeral. But two dramatic instances have taken place amid the events surrounding the queen's death.

She began her thread writing: “Evening - along with my lovely mum and her very good friend, I have just experienced a moment in history - witnessing the Queen lying in state in Westminster Hall.

The Queen Consort has been nursing a broken toe for over a week and battling through the pain to continue to support her husband on his duties, according to reports. The injury is thought to have occurred before the death of Queen Elizabeth II last Thursday September 8. With Charles now King of England, the former Duchess of Cornwall, 75, has found herself thrown into even more royal duties than before since Elizabeth II's death.

Princess Anne, Queen Elizabeth II’s only daughter, has been deemed the hardest working royal while simultaneously staying out of the public eye over the years, according to one royal expert.  The values of keeping her personal life to herself trickled down to how she even chose to raise her two children, whom she opted to not give royal titles to. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliam told Fox News Digital that Anne, 72, does not like the royal spotlight, and it's why she has kept her life private over the years.

Sarah Ferguson, who had a close relationship with Queen Elizabeth II, has not attended any royal events since the queen's death on Sept. 8. Despite her absence, the Duchess of York, fondly known as Fergie, will attend the state funeral, royal expert Shannon Felton Spence told Fox News Digital.

King Charles is considering the importance of each of his family members having royal titles. According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, the matter of royal titles is «enormously important» to the new monarch.

The only people who are able to act in the King’s place are the Queen Consort, the new Prince of Wales, the Dukes of Sussex and York, and Princess Beatrice. Other than the Queen Consort, these individuals all have the role of Counsellor of State, which is a title that is automatically bestowed upon the four royals next in the line of succession who are older than 21.

It’s only been a week since Prince William took on his new title of the Duke or Cornwall following the Queen’s death, and the royal has already taken charge of the role. Prince William, 40, became the 25th Duke of Cornwall, a title previously given to his father the former Prince Charles, after the Queen died on Thursday 8 September.

Holly Willoughby caused momentary chaos in the This Morning studio as she returned to screens. She was back fronting the ITV daytime show on Thursday (September 15) alongside Phillip Schofield which continued to pay tribute the Queen Elizabeth II, a week on from her death.

A Royal guard caused a small commotion in the early hours of Thursday morning as he fainted while guarding The Queen’s coffin and toppled face first from the podium. The unfortunate event happened at around 1am, just as the guard was about to change over, with one soldier dressed in black appearing to be a little unsteady on his feet ahead of the incident.
