Aaron Ramsey has reportedly been offered a career lifeline by former Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo with Turkish outfit Fatih Karagumruk. The Welshman recently returned to the Serie A side having completed an underwhelming sixth-month loan with Scottish giants Rangers, in which the ex-Arsenal star made a mere five league starts under Giovanni Van Bronckhorst after joining back in January.
The 31-year-old missed the decisive spot-kick in the Europa League final which saw Eintracht Frankfurt lift the European title at the Gers' expense, but he did claim a Scottish Cup winners medal.Juventus have made no secret of their desire to offload Ramsey in recent times and there's speculation the out-of-favour midfielder could even see his contract ripped up this summer.
It seems the Welsh international could now be set to link up with his former Juve manager amid reports that he's wanted by Pirlo at his new club. The Italian icon has recently been appointed as manager of Turkish side Fatih Karagumruk and it appears he's already setting about putting his stamp on his new squad.
According to reports in Italy, as cited by the Scottish Daily Express, Pirlo is keen on adding Ramsey to the ranks of his new side.It is understood that a loan move to the Turkish club could well be on the cards this summer.
