We can always rely on Royal Ascot for some good summer fashion, and after a spectator-free event last year, it seemed racegoers were particularly delighted by the opportunity to dress up.The royals were no exception.
Though the Queen chose not to attend for the first time in her 69-year reign, the family was well represented by Princess Anne, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Countess of Wessex and Zara Tindall.This kind of formalwear is par for the course for the royals, but it seemed like they’d stepped it up a gear this time, perhaps making up for last year’s hiatus.
