Croatia, Greece and Denmark could follow France and be added to the quarantine list as their number of coronavirus cases continue to rise.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson previously warned that ministers would be “absolutely ruthless” in deciding on whether to impose the self-isolation requirement.
Mr Johnson said the Government could not allow the UK’s population to be “reinfected or the disease to come back in”. Last night, it was announced that France, The Netherlands, Monaco, Malta, Turks & Caicos and Aruba will added to the quarantine list from 4am on Saturday.
