Chelsea have spent the better part of the last two decades at the pinnacle of English football - and players have made great names for themselves at Stamford Bridge.From Frank Lampard to Didier Drogba, the Blues boast a litany of superstars.

And with so many players synonymous with their time in west London, spells at other English sides can easily be forgotten. And as Willian could be set for a switch to Fulham, Daily Star Sport is looking at five players who stared at Chelsea, but also had forgettable spells at other sides in the English footballing pyramid.

When Eidur Gudjohnsen arrived at the Britannia Stadium in 2010 it would have seemed like a blast from the past for the Potters.For a few free-wheeling years at the turn of the millennium, Stoke were owned by an Icelandic consortium and plenty of Nordic talent called the side home.
