14 killed in tragic bus crash as unlicensed driver was high on crystal meth

East Java Police’s preliminary investigation suggested that the high bus driver was the primary cause of the deadly crash, according to Coconuts.The bus, operated by tour company PO Ardiansyah, was travelling back to Mojokerto after excursions to Wonosobo and Yogyakarta.East Java Police Traffic Director Latief Usman told reporters yesterday: "When we looked into the driver, there was indication that he used crystal meth.

We are taking a blood sample to confirm the result of a urine test on the driver."Police are yet to officially press charges but are continuing to gather evidence. He had been driving high for 17km before smashing into the traffic sign. Tour company PO Ardiansyah is also being investigated by the cops and could face criminal charges regarding neglect if it transpires that its bus drivers are unqualified for the job.
