holiday destinations could be added to the 'green' travel list thanks to improving coronavirus infection rates and vaccine success.
Travellers looking to go abroad are currently limited to where they can travel with strict restrictions for red and amber countries.Portugal was recently removed from the green list, meaning people are forced to self-isolate on return home and dashing any hopes of summer holidays.
The countries and territories on the green list are currently Australia, Brunei, the Falkland Islands, Faroe Islands, Israel and Jerusalem, New Zealand, Singapore, South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands, and St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha.
