Premier League’s 10 dirtiest players from the 2020/21 season have been revealed – and Manchester City legend Fernandinho is the worst offender.
Bookmaker BetVictor have worked out who have been the top-flight’s most unsporting stars this term based on their average time between bookings.
The study only includes players who have played over 1000 minutes of Premier League football, and it has thrown up some fascinating results.Half of the top-ten dirtiest players in the Premier League are English, although it’s City’s Brazilian captain and all-round leader Fernandinho who tops the list.
The 36-year-old has been used sparingly this term, playing just 1188 minutes, but that’s still enough to guarantee him top-spot in the top-flight’s rogue.
